 Your first visit will be 1 hour in length. Completing the new patient packet a few days before your appointment would be very helpful so your answers can be evaluated. This will make the visit more time effective.
Reviewing your medical history with you helps create a clear picture of who you are and your health needs. Along with your current complaint, we ask you about any other symptoms that you have experienced over the past 6 months. This is important as all parts of your body are intertwined. Information is needed about family history, surgeries, medications and supplements. Also of interest will be what has helped and not helped you in the past.
Next will be a comprehensive physical exam. This will most likely be more detailed than a typical annual health check up.
Lastly, further testing will be recommended when necessary and together we will devise a treatment plan.
There is a pharmacy located in the office. Many of the remedies suggested can be purchased before you leave. This is provided to ensure you receive high quality products that have proven to be effective. Many of the brands available in the office are not available to the general public and cannot be found in health food stores
